the funniest 80's site on the web The Forgotten 80's had been like totally updated with more stuff you can't remember!
So stop on by, have a laugh and most of all don't feel old because the 80's were pretty much yesterday. Don't believe people when they say it was 20 or 30 years ago. Back to the future is so not 25 years old. The 80s just happened!

Go to page 95 and Choose this shirt!
I chose my own adventure. Today’s T-shirt was totally inspired by the books you grew up with. If you decide to go down to the basement and try to scare the ghost go to page 62 of this blog. If you decide to head for the attic and take your chances go to page 112 of this blog!

Flashback Friday Video: The 1990s!
The 1990s were probably the the last time the majority of people developed film. It’s also a time when many of you grew up so here is a 1990s flashback video for you to enjoy.

Feeling Nostalgic for The T-shirt of the day!
Do you miss the days when exercise was easy? As in running thru the sprinklers, or doing a cannonball into the pool, or spending hours on the trampoline? Maybe you can get back into the groove by strapping on some old school roller skates or rolling down a hill at the local park, or by having a couch cushion fight with your bf, gf, or spouse. (You know you want to) If enough teens and so called adults start doing this maybe the world will become a healthier place (or not, cause ho hos are seriously hard to resist. Washed down with some kool aid and an otter pop yum!)
Anyway don’t you wish today’s tee was a reality?

I also wish they made adult size sit and spins. Maybe I will make that shirt next!

Shirt of the Day 70’s child
If you grew up with a Harvest gold oven, a non matching avocado fridge, shag carpeting, a really loud vinyl kitchen floor, popcorn ceilings, a rust colored beanbag chair, and some beads in your doorway and you owned a portable 8-track player, some corduroy bell bottoms, a pair of toughskin jeans from sears, a concert shirt for that epic time you saw Foghat live you then you need this shirt. Wear it in your AMC Gremlin or Pacer with the denim seats.
Of course many of us who rocked the Harvest gold kitchens were not 70’s kids we were 80’s kids whose parents were slow to update. (Why yes that is fake wood paneling in the den why do you ask? I think it matches the complete wall of mirrors and the giant photographic mural on the other walls.)

The Bonanza Ranch and the end of western civilization as we know it.
So remember how I was talking about visiting the Bonanza ranch as a kid? Well according to this youtube video the attraction closed. :( Not that I was ever into westerns or anything but this backs up my theory that lately everything cool gets torn down to make room for yet another bed bath and beyond. Now I don’t have anything against towels but it seems like boring chain stores are taking over. The next time you are looking at relaxing sounds of the spa cds or bathroom towel warmers or something else you don’t need that badly stop for a moment and think of what once stood where you are. Maybe it was a racetrack where Seabiscuit ran (RIP Bay Meadows) or a really funky 1960s era bowling alley, or some concert venue where some early rock and roll innovator had their last show, or maybe a fun sort of tacky but full of childhood memories rest stop on the way to somewhere fun. (RIP Nut Tree in Vacaville your great beyond really is a Bed Bath and Beyond)
My whole point I guess is just for once don’t go to the Dennys or the Ihop try the weird local place on vacation, and if you see a large dinosaur by the side of the road stop and pose and take a photo because like his real counterparts he is fast on the way to becoming extinct.
I think I still have a cup souvenir from the Bonanza Ranch somewhere. Maybe it’s valuable now?
